Pride and Prejudice
I have finally found the time to just sit and listen through the book Pride and Prejudice and what a wonderful, joyful and fantastic book! I'm used to watching the series, 1995 starring Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth of pride and prejudice rather then the movie, 2005 starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen. The series follows the book very well and I feel absolutely satisfied with how the series turned out compared to the book.
I'm not quite as familiar with the movie but since it is shorter it's not equally possible to bring in all the details which I feel so important in the series.
However, there is one part of the series which I would have preferred to be more like the book, more detailed, then it was. It's at the absolute end once Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy arrives back at Netherfield. I would have wished for their meeting with the Bennets to have been more elaborated.
Anyway it was very nice to find the time to at last listen through the whole book. I believe most of my preparations are done (meaning paper work) before I leave for Italy, and therefore it was nice to be consumed by the book and the Bennets life and intrigues.
