This is the blog where I'll write about my year as an au pair in Italy. Until now I have been living in Brignano gera d'adda just outside of Milan in northern Italy. Unfortunately me and my host family didn't click together and due to that I have decided to terminate my work with them and try another host family in Rome. This family has two boys, one of them is very active while the other one is more interested in gaming and movies. My work will be to drop them off for school and after school activities and of course to pick them up from there too. Other than that I'll hang out with them, help with their homework.
During this year I hope to learn Italian fluently, see loads of new places and make many new friends. I hope you will enjoy following my journey as much as I will enjoy experiencing it!
I'm still in Sweden, the plan is to arrive in Italy during the second half of September. Hopefully I'll be able to upload some posts here (more frequently once I go to Italy) about my preparations and my thoughts aout this year abroad.
